All young men in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints prepare themselves to go on missions. At the age of nineteen LDS men go to serve the Lord all over the world for two years. LDS Mormons also send young women on missions when they are twenty-two, however they are not commanded of God to serve missions as they also have an important role to serve as mothers in Zion.
