Latter-day Saints know that Christ gave His disciples His priesthood to act in His behalf, but Mormons believe that priesthood power was lost when the last disciple died. Thus Christ's church went into disarray and the earth experienced a time of spiritual darkness. LDS Mormons believe the fulness of Christ's gospel has now been restored to the earth.
