When The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came to Salt Lake, the Saints planted crops. It was not long before a storm of crickets or locusts came and began eating everything for miles. The Saints prayed to God for help as they would starve that winter without food. The LDS Mormons were rescued when God sent a huge flock of seagulls who came and ate up the innumerable crickets.
